Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location was superb, close to many restaurants and just a short walk from the metro station. The rooms were immaculately clean and offered a lovely view of the garden. The staff went above and beyond to help, but there were a few service hiccups. Dining options were good, but slightly limited, and the facilities were great overall.
The hotel rooms ran a little warm but were nicely decorated in a fairly tacky style. Despite this, the rooms were nice, very modern by Chinese standards, with very comfortable beds and nice views of the surrounding area. It would be nice to have access to the verandah, but unfortunately, they will not open them for you. The beautiful gardens to enjoy and a 5-minute walk to a few local pubs make it a great way to finish the trip with your family. My only gripe was the presence of only one coffee machine in the morning, leading to a long line for that morning fix.
The hotel offers a comfortable stay with well-equipped rooms that could fit in any modern mid-range hotel worldwide. The breakfast provides a mix of European and Oriental choices, giving a good start to the day. The service was helpful and competent, but breakfast service was somewhat aloof. The location is convenient, close to the subway and surrounded by bars and pubs. The dining options are varied with both Chinese and Western choices, but could be pricier than expected.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The rooms had everything I could ask for and offered good views, although they were a little bit small. They were light and airy with a good standard of decor. The service, however, was mixed, with some noise outside till late and unhelpful coordination for breakfast to-go. The location was nice and quiet, close to a Metro station in the green area of the French Concession district in Shanghai. The dining experience was basic but quite good, although more expensive than expected. Overall, the facilities were decent, with some room for improvement.
